Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
